Every Thursday, at 7pm, we meet at the Chapel of the Hotel Dieu to sing evening prayer (Vespers) together, during which the Sunday Gospel is proclaimed.

Singing the Psalms, listening to the Gospel and praying for our fellow men, allows us to take a  pause in our week to confide our worries and joys to the Lord  and to prepare ourselves for the coming Sunday, the day of the Resurrection.

Meeting in friendship in our Lord's name, people of all ages come together to  get ready for the Lord 's Day,  the blessed day when each in his own parish community will celebrate the Sunday Eucharist, the victory of Life over death.

Representing hope in the midst of darkness, the liturgy renders us witnesses to the light and calls on us to share this light with those around us.

Duration : 30 minutes, plus chatting on the church steps following the service !
